Short-course trucks, usually referred to as light trucks, are typically designed for urban use and short-distance transport, prioritizing efficiency and quickness. However, in events like the Dakar Rally, these trucks undergo extensive modifications, including upgrades to their suspension, chassis, specialized tires, and cockpit safety features. FMS has developed a new-generation FSC24 chassis, equipped with front independent suspension and a rear straight axle. The frame is constructed from high-strength nylon, providing an ideal balance of lightness and durability. The mid-mounted power unit, with its low center of gravity, incorporates a two-speed transmission and a 370 high-speed brushed motor into a single compact unit.
